The title, Come Closer, is inspired by a story told by Steve Hill. Once when
Steve was with Leonard Ravenhill, Leonard looked at Steve and whispered,
"Come closer." So, Steve moved his chair a little closer to Leonard, and Leonard repeated the request, "Come closer." Leonard said this about four times, and
when Steve was close enough Leonard said, "Steve, God's got secrets for you,
but God does not shout." I thought that that statement was so profound and decided to use "Come Closer" as the title of my videos. I believe God really does want us to come closer. And I pray, Beloved, that as you listen to these videos that they will inspire you to Come Closer to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
